Charting new paths in literacy

Since 2018, Redwood Literacy has been redefining dyslexia intervention, helping students embrace curiosity and discover their literacy story. To match their innovative approach, they needed a brand and website that reflected their expertise and mission. We worked with founder Kait Feriante and her team to create a fresh visual identity, a new logo, and a website that captured the heart of Redwood’s work.

The Challenge

Redwood wanted a brand that was clear, scalable, and as dynamic as their programs. Their website needed to be engaging and easy to navigate for parents, educators, and school leaders. Most importantly, they needed a way to tell their story in a way that inspired confidence and connection.

Our Approach

We started with strategic branding sessions to define Redwood’s identity as "The Explorer"—a brand rooted in curiosity, bravery, and authenticity. This guided their voice, messaging, and brand structure to ensure consistency across all programs.

Next, we designed a bold new logo and visual system that reflected their mission. The fresh logo symbolized growth and empowerment, while the vibrant color palette and modern typography balanced warmth with professionalism.

For the website, we focused on clarity and ease of use. We simplified navigation so parents, educators, and school leaders could quickly find the resources they needed. Real success stories and testimonials made Redwood’s impact tangible, while SEO and analytics tools helped boost their reach.
