Aera’s mission is to create resource-independent, carbon-neutral housing to combat climate change and integrate with the distributed energy economy. By pairing a rapidly deployable building system with a hassle-free ownership model, they deliver an independent, empowered, and high-quality living experience.
To prepare Aera for a round of fundraising, we used website and brand sprints to take them through our Favorite Brand Framework and deliver the brand assets they needed. The resulting deliverables gave them the confidence to attract capital, talent, and partners for their next phase.
We worked with the Aera team to develop a modern visual brand and website that would support their messaging for additional investors and the public. We chose to keep things minimal with a nod toward the clean lines and simplicity of modern architecture. We wanted to use a color scheme that would complement The building materials used as well as the natural environments in which era structures will be inhabiting.
The end result was a flexible modern brand that was economical in it's simplicity but powerful in its execution.
